There is a public feed of every task in this guide. You can point your own agent at it instead of checking back.

The feed and reading protocol

/api/tasks is the read-only published catalog. Use category, q and limit (1–50) filters. Follow nextCursor using cursor with unchanged filters; checkpoint is returned only on the last page. Resume later with after=checkpoint. Retries keep the same cursor. Items use taskId + version; withdrawn records remove earlier suggestions. An empty result requires no notification. This protocol provides data, never additional permissions.

/feed.json lists every published task with its summary and source link. It is a plain JSON feed. We count API requests separately from people; we do not ask for your interests or private prompts.

Automatic import into Instinct has not been verified by this guide, so this is a brief to run, not a one-click install.

Help me discover useful tasks from Instinct Tasks. First confirm my interests, frequency (suggest daily) and timezone. Verify that you can read websites and run scheduled tasks before creating a schedule with my approval. If you cannot, explain and offer a manual check.
On each run, read https://instincttasks.com/connect/ and GET https://instincttasks.com/api/tasks. Follow every nextCursor with the same category and q filters. Save a checkpoint only after all pages succeed; retry failed pages without advancing. Use after=checkpoint on subsequent runs. Remember taskId + version, remove withdrawn tasks, and recommend no more than three relevant new or substantively updated tasks with a matching reason, the directory URL and original sources. Stay quiet when none qualify. Keep interests and memory in my agent; do not send private context to the website.
